I’m looking at this right now, I see it every day. The difference between getting the body, or the goal you’ve always wanted & never really getting anyway. Don’t get me wrong, for some people strength & fitness training is just a part of their lives, and doing a bit every week makes them happier even if they don’t ever get results. And more power to them. If playing sport or going to the gym is an end in itself for you don’t you ever let anyone make you feel like you need to do more if it’s making you happy.

BUT if you actually have a goal, if you want a result it may be time to take a good long hard look in the mirror. Results hurt. They take sweat, tears, commitment, hunger, fatigue, pain. They hurt your social life, they lead to awkward questions from people who don’t understand your lifestyle. But if you really want results that’s what it takes. Anyone who says you can have it all is lying. Moderation leads to moderate results. If you want to be the best you have to train to beat the best
